Lasting Flowers is a beautiful soldered chain mail bracelet. Made of sterling silver using the Japanese 12-2 weave. Each and every link is soldered in this stunning bracelet. This is a custom made bracelet and is made to fit your wrist. Smaller wrists will not have as many flowers (size information for the above pictured bracelet is listed below). Since this is a custom made bracelet please allow 3 weeks for delivery.

About the wire: Solder filled wire is a tri-metal wire: a solder core surrounded by a copper shell and a fine silver outer layer (solder core: 6%; copper and fine silver shell 94%). The overall composition is sterling, but the fine silver shell provides a better finish and luster than sterling silver.

About the rings: The rings start out as a spool of wire. I use mandrels to coil the wire. The wire is then locked down into a holder. I then use a saw to cut the coil which makes the individual rings.

The bracelet pictured is a size: 7 1/4 or 8" long. **Note: Size and length are not the same. Length is a measurement on a ruler but size is measured on a special device that measures the inner circumference of the bracelet allowing you to get a more accurate fit. This is very important when designing and since this is a customer order it can be made to fit you.
