If you ever read Cupid and Psyche you might understand why these earrings are named Psyche. See Charoite is supposed to be the stone of courage and transformation.
Story: Psyche was in love with and married to a God. She distrusted him and lost him. Cupid upon leaving said "Love can never dwell where there is suspicion". Psyche roamed the world looking for her love. Finally this woman went to the temple of Venus who hated her daughter-in-law. Not only did Venus hate Psyche because of her beauty but because Psyche broke Cupid's heart. Psyche entered the temple of Venus to face the challenge and win back her husband's love. Can you imagine an angry mother-in-law but one who is a God? The courage to face that to get back with your love.
